JobTatkal is an Generative AI-powered job site that offers new job opportunities to job seekers and a pool of qualified talents to recruiters. The platform makes it seamless for job seekers to get discovered by recruiters who are actively looking for candidates. All they have to do is upload their CV, and JobTatkal parses data from that CV and creates a job seeker’s profile automatically which gets shown to the recruiters. Even recruiters get personalized candidate recommendations based on their job requirements.

Challenges faced during the development of JobTatkal

Lack of technical expertise

The project required a team of professionals who could design a suitable job site using Generative AI on short notice. As Generative AI is a nascent technology, it was challenging to find individuals with domain expertise.
Identifying the right architecture

Designing the optimal architecture for a user — identifying the best add-ons that provided vector search and other Generative AI boosts — proved to be a challenging task due to resource limitations, making it difficult to create an effective solution.
Refining the prompts

In order to bring accurate results, it was challenging to refine the prompts and generate the most relevant data based on the recruiter’s requirements.
Data formatting

It was necessary to bring the data in an accurate format (like tables) based on the user prompts, which was a challenging task as it was nearly impossible to predict the prompt that the users could input.

A platform that connects two endpoints; job seekers and recruiters

Our marvelous team of developers used cutting-edge GPT technology to develop the solution that JobTatkal required. They trained the model in a way to offer relevant candidate profiles that exactly match the criteria of the user and in a neat tabular format. Using AI, our team was also able to create a market value estimator that provides job seekers an estimate of their net worth based on the skills and roles mentioned in their CVs. For recruiters, the project simply required personalized candidate recommendations. However, by leveraging Generative AI, our team was also able to add several other functionalities as well such as the ability to create job descriptions and evaluate whether the specific profile is a good fit based on the job description. Altogether, OpenXcell helped in the development of JobTatkal— a helping hand for job seekers and a stress-buster solution for recruiters to find qualified candidates from a single platform. It empowers recruiters with Generative AI-based recommendations and job seekers with job opportunities based on their job profile and skills.
